February brought a new map comments capability and a satisfying stack of bug fixes - here's what shipped.

New Features

Comments on the Map

Pinned and site level comments

Pinned comments are now available to all users. You can pin a comment to draw attention to something specific on the map - and pinned comments, along with all other comment types, now show up in the comments summary panel. You can also filter the summary between all comments, resolved comments, and pinned comments.

What Else?

  • Address Search on the Sites Map - you can now search for an address directly on the company-level sites map, making it faster to navigate to a specific location without having to scroll and zoom manually.

Using address search to locate a site in the CarbonCrop platform
  • Updated Pre-1990 Aerial Imagery - the LINZ pre-1990 aerial imagery layer has been updated to the latest available version, so you're working with the most current historical imagery when assessing 1990 forest status.

  • Editable Invoice Dates - invoice dates can now be edited directly from the invoice edit page, giving you more control over how invoices are recorded.

  • Forest Change Activities in Tasks - forest change activities are now visible in the emissions return task and in the download dialog, so you have a clearer picture of what's included when preparing your emissions return.

Bug Fixes

  • Fixed an issue where the Registration Category was resetting from Averaging to Permanent when the Report Category was changed and then changed back.

  • Fixed forest change shapefiles failing Tupu-Ake validation due to incorrect handling of historic clearing data.

  • Fixed an issue where the establishment method was missing from forest changes shapefiles, which was blocking some emissions return submissions.

  • Fixed a bug where drawing tools could be selected but wouldn't work correctly.

  • Fixed an issue where the FieldScan and Analytics tabs required a double-click to open from the map page.

  • Fixed invoice amounts not being editable - the input was reformatting on the first keystroke, making it impossible to type a new value.

  • Fixed catchment sites losing land parcels after LINZ title updates.

Stay tuned for more updates next month!
